cruise ships not so often, usually most crowded is the old city only.
Apart from the old city there is many good places to see.
Not only in Dubrovnik, but in area too.

Sarah 4 years agoAhh, is this what’s known as Dubrovnik? I’ve always wanted to go, but know they’ve been struggling with high visitor numbers due to excessive numbers of cruise ships docking there! The village we stayed in is beautiful - see picture! We actually landed in Venice and drove through Slovenia into Croatia, it was beautiful!😁

Sarah 4 years agoBeautiful picture! I love Croatia, many years since I visited but have fond memories of the place. We went to lovran near opatija, and worked with students from Zagreb university (it was a field trip with my degree and the lecturer who took us was from lovran, so we got a locals insight which was fantastic!) 😁
