Yes, Apartheid ended but fid it really. I mean they were from the beginning a communist marxist party.

Sigg3 6 years agoThat being said, the ANC undoubtedly played an important part in SA political history, and it's difficult (and speculative) to suggest things would have been better if someone else played their part.

Sigg3 6 years agoI'm not an expert on SA politics, but any party that began simply as a reaction-to will often lack political platform beyond solving their founding issue.
Take the Norwegian eco-party MDG. They solely exists to push environmental protection policies (which most people can largely agree with), but lack any real social profile or policy. What's even more confusing is that they fallback on some individual freedom bullshit and end up libertarian. (Libertarian doctrine is eco-indifferent.)- 0
