  I have experienced a loop at boot on a machine with the nvidia quadro chipset using the proprietary DKMS driver, but that was between kernels on the same edition (FC16 I think).
  
  I've had very little problems upgrading, but I've only used FC on ThinkPads.

  Halts on boot. Pretty sure during systemd stuffs

  What kind of breakage? Repo err, kernel panics, graphical?

  GUI and cli. Probably GUI.
  
  But it works on 2 out of 3 of my fedora machines.
