Browsing about F-Droid and finding interesting and useful programs is pretty neat. It is a bit unfortunate that there are no fully featured illustration apps on there, but buying one isn't expensive and is straight forward (As compared to the nonsense that is the Creative Cloud).

I was especially taken with the amount of nice little community apps on there. This place, Danger/u/, and even bigger sites like Diaspora and Mastodon. I like social sites that aren't the usual giants.
