@Stolensoul but most of these cultish groups don't sell a worldview as much as social goods (community, friendship, purpose, attention). Nobody joins the church of scientology for its beliefs, but for its missions. The mechanisms they use are very effective. I believe qanon relies on emotion and conflict-driven social media algorithms that make people end up with beliefs they would not necessarily agree with to begin with.

@Sigg3 What I was saying is that everyone can believe in conspiracy theories, even smart people. Not QAnon, as it is just some incredibly stupid crap made for stupid people. You can't fall into this if you have a brain or just a bit of decency.

@Stolensoul Qanon has a conspiratorial world view. This comes recommended:

In Search Of A Flat Earth (2020) - "Starts off looking at people who believe the Earth is flat (and why it’s so hard to convince them otherwise), then takes a sharp turn focusing on a much more worrying movement, QAnon. If you had to watch ONE video explaining "QANON", it should be this!" [01:16:16]

No. Conspiracy theories are one thing, QAnon is just bullshit for gullible and naive people.
