  @gespenstr probably true, but I believe you can shape the input streams accordingly. I'm just afraid it will amplify the echo chamber effect, making us more divided :/
  
  But if we can avoid or ensure the lack of conflict raising algorithms, it shouldn't have the same risks for democracy.

  There's also #Diaspora and #SocialHome too.
  Really, the #Fediverse sites all seem much more pleasant that the current big players, though I would assume it's because not many people know about them.
