  If someone comment on your post, they will get a notification when someone else adds to the post . If you tag someone, they will be notified they've been tagged in a post. You can also have trusted members, where you add who you want and if you change the settings at the top to trusted (a tick I think) then obly the people you've selected as trusted members will be able to see the post.
