Kevinmc 6 years agoLike Nuke I use TOR and DDG as much as posisble, or I2P. I have no trust in Google what so ever.

Nuke 6 years agoBut still, that could be a problem on any international website with servers elsewhere, but with hidden trackers from mayor websites from US like Google, Facebook, Amazon (http://randomwalker.info/publications/OpenWPM_1_million_site_tracking_measurement.pdf). So I try to use local extra precautions: trusting certain addons for privacy and security, use of Tor when available (2)

Nuke 6 years agoThat's right Shalimar, DDG Server is located in the US. That is a problem because even when DDG tell us that it avoids Search Leakage and use of cookies, default HTTPS, and its supposed to not collect personal info (https://duckduckgo.com/privacy), its stilll on the eye of the NSA wherever I'm at (https://www.eff.org/pages/upstream-prism).
