  Which only works on people who don't care about getting controlled. This kind of article mostly aims to manipulate too, only looking at the massive amount of references to distopian books will tell you so. Before criticizing subte manipulation from markets or companies, we should rather focus on the massive corruption and illegal activities they have, which have a bit more of an impact.
