Who reads release notes any more?

    Oh, I read the change logs of programs I often use, just to stay up-to-date with the features the program offers. I always write change logs for own projects/programs, even though noone else than me will ever read them :D
    Unfortunately, the release notes of many programs get less and less detailed.
    ("Bug fixes" e.g., without mentioning which bugs, that bothers me every time)

    The release notes mention the new exciting UI and that's it. Not sure what broke automation... Snapshot the VM before updates!

    I read release notes. Except for a few programs with very frequent updates. I also occassionally read changelogs.

    release notes != changelogs i guess?
    But if it's kind of the same, I read them.
