  @deavmi that then allows us to control which nodes talk to which. In a way we are doing that now with allowing no one. I think for privacy it's a good idea. It will be interesting to see how EU GDPR effects federation

  Maybe you could add some sort of server rule per user to deny other servers from reading his or her posts

  I think federation doesn't go hand in hand with privacy. Not sure how we'll solve that problem but I'm pretty sure federation doesn't do the trick
