Sorry to the Americans, but... Your two presidential candidates argue like two five year olds. Not sure if they know what a logical fallacy is but it's pretty much one after another. The format of last night's debate seems very odd from a British person looking in. Doesn't seem very official or serious IMHO.

Just seen that on the news, they both come off as idiots. Trumps losing support from people too which is basically a good thing.

Yea I know... but it isn't this bad! They're not quite as petty. At least we have a the speaker who tells them to keep to the point.

@bouncyballboy I think you've hit the nail on the head there. That is exactly what went on!!!... @pietlu them choices would sound good if I had to vote over there :P. @dawn, at least ours seem way more educated and very rarely get on to petty arguments like little kids.

I didn't see the debate but I can imagine it well: two apparently politically-powerful and influential adults with no interest in what's best for the people making fools of themselves by poorly emulating intelligent debating in global broadcasts embarrassing reasonable Americans and victimising the entire population of the US by presenting themselves as the best potential representatives of American citisens and US interests while being illogical idiots and perverting progress.

In German, there's the idiom "Die Wahl zwischen Pest und Cholera haben". ("to choose between the devil and the deep blue sea" translated correctly, 1:1 translation: "to choose between pestilence and cholera")... that sums it up pretty well, I think. :D
