After yet another rejection from Apple due the word Android being mentioned on the homepage I am at the end of my tether. Is there any popular open source app stores for iOS? Similar to F-Droid? I'm going to have to find an alternative.

@dirk @joe Windows phone isn't being pushed any more. The part of nokia they swallowed and screwed up is on its way to foxconn. I think they will probably leave it bubbling away in the background like winCE has been all this time. The product placements in movies and TV may take a while to go away though sadly

House of cards... that is what Apple is if they are so afraid of crumbling.

Well my appeal was dismissed. The wording on home page has simply changed from "iPhone, iPad and Android applications" to "mobile applications". Not the end of the world.

80% and 14%? I did not realize it was that lopsided.

I thought that had been killed by Microsoft?? I also don't own a Windows machine to implement one, but I would be happy if one existed.

@Dirk I agree it's a very small platform compared. Although there is still users who have iOS devices and they aren't cheap to replace. Think its enough reason to still support it.

Don't care about iOS. It's market share is on around 14 percent whereas Android is at 80+ percent 😎

Not sure. I guess it will be because it will be in their agreement. It's a douche move though

That's completely abusive of them. Is that even legal? ._.

Yep it would appear so. They didn't want the app store icons and now the Android wording annoys them. It mentions iPhone and iPad also.

I've appealed it. We will see what happens. I don't want to leave iOS users out to dry though. I think everyone deserves an open source alternative so will have to play the game if needs be I think.
