Hey all. Just want to double check with you. Would you be happy if Pjuu used a little more JS (bare in mind that our source code is all open), drop support for older browsers and possible text based terminals? I agree it is a nice to have but from looking at the small amount of logs we keep, these are not in use. It may make the experience nicer and more in line with others. This would make my development decisions simpler going forward.

I don't use one but I have before and is something I'd like to be able to use with Pjuu.

I'm not doing anything yet, it was more so I can think without restrictions... Do you use one Deavmi? It doesn't show up in my 7 days logs generally.

A free law service would be shit. Law is money related. You need someone who can read words and semantics well.

Free means shit in this case.

I looked in to it a little and I would get a warning first in any case. I will see what I need to add to the privacy statement but I honestly haven't read anything so far which requires me to make a change.

@Joe @Deavmi has a point. There's probably a free law service that could give a simple "you're fine" statement :)

Can't quite afford a lawyer for the project yet 😋... The law isn't that different to the law before. Being so privacy focused I think helps.

@sigg3 I'm still not 100% sure we actually need to do anything. We don't market to people, the right to be forgotten is equivalent to "Delete account", we don't use any cookies that are not required (only the session cookie). We've done lots at work but non of them effect Pjuu. AFAIK we were already compliant. Do you know much about the law?

I only use the #android app myself. If I were to try a different platform it would probably be cli (home cooked #bash).
