Kevinmc 6 years agoNow I am getting all warm and fuzzy over the days of dial up. 1 MB file took 5-8 mins to download *Sigh* those were the days. :P

Kevinmc 6 years agoYeah, 1.5Mbps or 1500Kbps or or roughly 187 KBps If I remember right to down load an average song roughly 5 MB would take 30-40 seconds. you could stream Youtube if you did nothing else like freenet, torrent, gaming etc... now it takes 1-2 secs tops to download 5MB file.

Ucak 6 years agoI would be definitly happy if it were to stay at 8 and how did you survive with 1.5mbps? It is 150kb per second right?( and 3 mbps is 300 kb per second just for clarification)

Kevinmc 6 years agoA few years ago I had DSL 1.5mbps for 29.95 and was happy with that. Then I moved and 1.5mbps was no longer offered. The lowest and cheapest I could get was 20mbps for $39.99 then that was bumped to 50mpbs for $59.99. I would gladly pay $15 for 8mbps for what I use the net for. However giving you 8 the dropping to 3 for the same price is bull.

Kevinmc 6 years agoI switched, went with a third party provider got 100Mb/10Mb for $49.99 where I was paying $59.99 for 50Mb/5Mb with the 1 yr contract now want $78.59 for the same speed 50/5. Am I missing the logic somewhere? Especially when the TPP piggy back on the tele cos network wth????
