#pjuuies, is there a good alternative for Youtube? I decided to seek one after seeing this https://tosdr.org/#youtube

@Joe, the reason I was searching for an alternative is that Youtube has made ridiculous censorship on videos of some youtubers that I follow. Also the YouTube comments is an atrocity IMHO. I have never uploaded a video on Youtube, so no problems on that area :p

@pensador_13 are you uploading video?? I know the ToS aren't good but for watching as a consumer my favorite shows are all on YouTube. AdBlocker stops most of the Ads but I disabled it as it was flakey. In this situation I like supporting the video content I watch. I don't have ads on any other sites though

It depends on what you mean for "good alternative". Most of the video hosting services have his own ToS with a lot of censored content but a lot of supported input file formats, a few of them allow ad-revenue or download option from the website. Another things to think about: Max video size, max video time, video resolution, among others.

There's https://goblinrefuge.com which is an instance of GNU mediagoblin. I used another instance back in the days. The upload seems to be a simple post thingy. Dunno if the things are now better.

I've heard of people switching to dailymotion or vimeo.
