To the creator of this social network. I heard that Donald Trump want to make your own social network against the Twitter and Facebook. Do you think offer this Social Network to Trump? XD XD

Oh, Trump definitely didn't incite it. If anything, he instructed them to protest peacefully.

But the big socnets were already tired of him (and his posts have violated their policies for years). Probably lots of other pollies' posts are also violations.

@lnxw37 I think Twitter normally are consistent but they have Terms that protect political leaders speech. I would imagine this is so the opposition don't constantly flag their posts.

I have to agree with you on the corporate platform thing. Seems very strange for a leader to use it the way he has.

I've seen people posting about the Parler thing. I don't know enough about Parler to fill a thimble, but I'm sure plotters didn't only use Parler. Are any providers going after Twitter and Facebook, where it is likely that most such activity happened? (After all, who even knew about Parler before they hit the news?)

If his posts were illegal content, they'd have closed his accounts years ago (by law).

They should have been consistent--his posts have violated Twitter's ToS for years--but they liked the boost in usercount, media attention, and stock price that came from having him on their platform. Twitter should have kicked him off years ago.

Besides that, no public official should make a corporate platform the centerpiece of policy-related communications.

It's funny how some people call this a mediocre network, yet keep on coming even though nobody wants them to

Pjuu is the best SN because it mascot is a litter otter. Don't feed the trolls. Be in peace! :)

They were kicked off the apple and google app stores before aws though.

Additionally digitalocean have said they aren't welcome on the platform.

    parler got dropped by aws

The parler statement on the matter read weird - in a nut shell they said they needed to re-write everything from the ground up because they would have to change providers but were cloud agnostic because everything was on bare-metal

Even if he makes his own, he's still subject to the law, so even though it might be harder to prevent him from saying crap there, it wouldn't make him immune to the law.

Yea, I heard he was looking at making his own. I thought Parlour was where all the Trump supporters went?
