Managed my outcome these days. Quit Spotify for Amazon Unlimited Music saves me 50 EUR a year and moving my mobile contract from 30 EUR/month to 8 EUR/months saves me 264 EUR/year. Yeah, I am a great "Sparfuchs" (as we call it in Germany, word to word translation would be saving fox, but don't know what to say in real English :-) )

that's so much cheaper, even 69 euro is 30 euro cheaper than were paying! ahh, I love downton abbey, unfortunately I cant concentrate on watching a series whilst at work, so I stick to googling, Christmas shopping and pjuu!!!

many things in the UK are more expensive :-) But until next year I pay just 49 EUR / year. But they increased it now up to 69 EUR. Currently I am watching Downton Abbey....hahahaha....

ooooh, ok, we already have amazon prime! I didn't really realise you could add the amazon unlimited music to it! We just use prime for free next day delivery and watching comedy! its much cheaper for you-we pay £79 a year (over 90 EUR!) for prime!

@Sarah @joe : to save some money I have to tell, that I am already a Amazon Prime member. This is the reason, that I have to pay 7,99 per month or 79 EUR per year for Unlimited Music. Otherwise, if you are not a Prime member (which costs 69 EUR per year in Germany) you have to pay 9,99 EUR. And that is the same price as Spotify. But as my video streaming company Watchever quits at the end of this year I moved to Prime, where you have a video streaming thing within for 69 EUR. ;-)

@joe might be something worth looking into, save some money compared to spotify?

googled an comparison, found this: http://www.giga.de/webapps/amazon-music-unlimited/specials/amazon-music-unlimited-vs.-spotify-vergleich-der-streaming-services/
Unlimited has more music in its database, max-quality is the same at both.... but Unlimited has a lower min-quali, so would be, when used via mobile data, a bit less data-hungry :D

What I can say so far is only that the content seems very similar to Spotify as I use it only offline. The app seems to need a little bit more of my battery power, but I have to check this a little bit longer. One act missing is Metallica, but as they are in Amazon Unlimited in the US, they surely will come here in Germany very soon as well.
But the streaming quality should be better as they offer up to 346 kbit or something like that.
