  Protonmail has had a lot of going-over. I can't recall if it's had a formal audit. But they put out a call recently for people to look over their code and try to improve their setup. This is worded terribly. Just woke up.

  I can't seem to find anything about an audit anywhere. I'm sure it will have been reviewed after the Ted talk by someone but can't confirm it.

  Funny. They just announced they were going pay-only. Guess the backlash (or uptake) was bad.
