  same job, same salary - it's ok
  but simpler job but the same salary is not ok regardless of sex
  i meet no such a discrimination, maybe because in Russia we have a very strict job laws (legacy from soviet times)
  
  but times changes, i am sure one time this democratic tendencies comes to our country )))

  i'm not about leaders, i'm not qualify enough to judge such matter (but IMHO problem the same)
  
  i'm about engineers, software or not, in that cases there is no salary differences if you have the same skill.
  
  if you just a junior, and want the same salary as leading member, sorry it's bullshit whatever you have between your legs.
  
  better to spend time learning something useful or just for hobby than for that kind of protests

  The average salary of female leader is 23% lower than the male average. So you really think women are 23% less qualified?

  i meet many real specialists, but nobody take part in such a protest, because don't have enough spare time for that shit

  maybe because she lacks skills needed for that job?
  it's simpler to protest all your live than to learn and do your job well...
  maybe it's the reason why so few woman in IT (for example)?

  It's not going about changing gender for this protest. It is going about discrimination in jobs. Why are there so few female leaders in big companies and why is the salary of them lower.??

  Yes, we live in a rather interesting time.
  To me, a Man is a Man, and a Woman is a Woman, but we try to cross the line between the two Genders. Yes, you can say your gender is whatever you want, but that doesn't change your true born sex. Its all an Identity crisis...
