  How is everyone tonight? We've been to see the new pups again and I think we know which one we are going to get. Not set in stone yet but she seems to fit her name 😀 They're all so cute its hard to know.

  Sorry about that folks. It would appear Pjuu went offline for a couple hours today. The main problem is that SystemD couldn't restart it due to a permissions error. The service needs to write a pid file to `/run/pjuu` this folder did not exist due to a system restart on Digital Ocean. This shouldn't happen again as the folder is now created and permissions set through SystemD itself on start. We didn't get an alert through Nagios. I will sort that out. Sorry again.

  Well we've arrived in Hartlepool for the wedding. Sure the other side of country have bed weather that us :-P

  @mukt the reason the hashtags such as #hashtag's aren't working is due to us escaping the input for cross-site scripting protection. I have an opened an issue here https://github.com/pjuu/pjuu/issues/286. The parser sees them correctly so its just a case of how we store them.

  It's still a couple months away but our idea to make some pennies to get more time to work on Pjuu is going to be http://monotter.com/. It will start as a web checking service but will grow to allow system monitoring and other things. There is no public beta at this time but I will let you all know ones it's available. It will be a paid service with a free tier 😀

  Well @sarah is working at the pub tonight. I'm spending my Saturday evening writing Elixir code with a few beers. That's the developer life for you. Nothing better to do than write code 😀 I'm working on a side project that will hopefully generate some money and allow us to spend more time working on Pjuu 🤗 Hope everyone's weekends are going well.

  A designer friend of mine has re-worked our Otter (called Ot). It is so we can use him on the top bar. The current one doesn't scale very well. Feedback would be very handy.

  Was a nice morning. 10 minutes later biggest Thunderstorm of the year. The storm front came to fast to get a better one.

  Well my birthday weekend has been great. Some nice camping with some people who haven't been camping since before I was born: @dawn & @tony. Had some lovely food and drinks it was great. Got some great presents (incl. Lego). Thanks very much @sarah. You are the master of surprises. Love you 💕

  It's very interesting migrating this data. Strange to think just over 2 years ago Pjuu didn't have any features it has now. It was just a list of what people posted and feeds. No notifications. No #hashtags, @mentions or links.
