  Just doing some work on a tips system to welcome new users and it can be used for advise else where round the site. Hope you are all having a good evening 😀

  There is also an iOtter upgrade for iOS waiting to be approved by Apple which will fix the issue with not being able to resize images in full screen or get back to the site from them.

  A new version of the Android app is available on the play store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pjuu.otterdroid any reviews would be much appreciated as we will be losing all the data of the old app.
  
  Hopefully the F-Droid upgrade will go ahead smoothly. There is two apps showing in F-Droid web interface so not 100% sure when this will be. I have spoken to mods over there who have helped with the plan of action.

  Hope everyone is having a nice Sunday. Been making some changes. Approve users have now been renamed to trusted (thanks for the name @mukt). There is also a description of each post permission on the settings page 😀

  Some bad news all. We are going to have to re-create the Droidotter (Pjuu android) app on the Google play store. This is entirely my fault and is rather embarrassing: Due to a hard disk problem in my Mac I lost the signing key used to update the app itself. This happened a couple of weeks ago and I have no way to recover it. I will provide more details when the next update gets deployed to a different app. Please accept my apologies. Lesson learnt: BACK UP EVERYTHING! Site data is backed up.

  Hopefully will fix a long outstanding issue in Droidotter and iOtter in the coming days. You should be able to zoom in and out of full screen posted images and get back to the post with force quit in iOtter.

  You can now reverse or re-vote on posts within 5 minutes of the last vote. If you reverse your vote within that time it will just as if you never voted :D hope this is helpful, it's been a long time coming.

  Just to clear up some confusion about "Approved posts". These will only appear to followers you have approved. Your followers will still be be able to see your Public and Pjuu posts though. If any one can think of a better name than "Approved" it may be handy. Also a quick question. Has any one approved any users as of yet?
